Digital Media Communications (X25E)

All students receive hands-on experience with photography, videography, website design, podcast production and journalism. Daily live broadcasts of Trumans announcements and coverage of our concerts, sporting and cultural events train students in a “real time” production environment. Students use Adobe Premiere Pro, professional cameras, 360 cameras, flying camera drones and other editing equipment to produce commercials, PSAs, short films, news packages and more. Students travel to Hollywood in California to participate in the Student Television Network National Convention. Internships and partnerships are available with WABC-7 Eyewitness News, News 12 and BronxNET. All interested and eligible students can also be enrolled in our Honors program.
