September 26th is Meet the Teacher evening. This event will be held virtually. For this meeting, you will follow your child’s schedule and “virtually” visit their classes along with other parents / guardians. Your child’s teachers will share general information about the remainder of the school year. This information may include details about final projects and final exams, specifics about Regents exams (if the course culminates in one), as well as notifying you of key dates and events at Truman.
THIS LINK will take you to a list of every teacher at Truman High School. Next to each name will be a Google Meet link. Each link is for a specific teacher. On September 26th, you will be have access to these links.
Enclosed with this letter is a copy of your child’s schedule. You should follow along with your child’s schedule by adhering to the timing below. For example, if you child’s Period 1 teacher is Mr. Klein, find his name on the Google Meets spreadsheet and go online between 5:00 and 5:15. If you child had Mr. Smith Period 2, find his name on the Google Meets spreadsheet and visit virtually with him from 5:20 – 5:35.
