BRONX, NY – Students at Harry S Truman High School celebrated Black History Month with a special 2-part performance for students and parents the week of Valentines Day. Part 1 was a Black History Month commemoration with performances by student dancers and singers. Part 2 was a special collaborative performance celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, and included dancing, singing and a live DJ.
One show was performed for the student body on February 14th. Two additional shows AND an evening performance for parents was held the following day on February 15th.
