BRONX, NY – The Harry S Truman High School family welcomed it’s newest members to the building on Thursday with the start of the 2022-2023 school year.
Students kicked off the day by receiving their new course schedules and metro cards – and then headed off to their first classes. This year Truman welcomes over 1,900 students each school day.
The new year brings a few new changes to Truman, including a transition to new online platforms such as the nycstudents.net and the NYC Schools Account for parents and families. Teachers will still be using the Google Classroom platform, however students will now use their new email accounts to access it.
In addition to our new incoming students, Truman welcomes 14 new members to the teaching staff.
