NEW YORK, NY – The “Steel Horses,” Truman’s own student robotics club, recently took the bots on the road. They went to Manhattan’s Armory Track and Field Center to test their designs against students from dozens of other schools from across the region. They were led by Mr. Walter Chadwick and Mr. Kevin Bui.
The FIRST Robotics Competition‘s website describes the competition as the “ultimate Sport for the Mind,” and “the hardest fun you’ll ever have.” Although the Steel Horses did not place in the competition, the students and their advisors had a great time facing off against the competing schools.
