BRONX, NY – Students in the Harry S Truman High School Computer Science class broke out the laptops and flexed their programming muscles for their first-ever Hack-a-thon.
The event challenged students to show off their best computer programming skills – and then share those skills with their classmates. Hack-A-Thons are held all over the world. Some are internal to individual high schools, while others are external – which focus on collaboration with other schools.
Mr. Hassane Laaroussi is the computer science teacher at Truman.
