(Reported by Britney Chambers) BRONX- This summer seven juniors will have the opportunity to be a part of history as they attend the International Relations & Diplomacy Summer Fellowship Program in New York City. This program, which is hosted by Mercy College, will give these exceptional students the opportunity to stay in college dorms for a week while engaging in behind the scene visits to the United Nations in addition to learning the fundamentals of diplomacy and peace keeping. These students who all have an overall grade point average of 90 or above, will learn important skills pertaining to public speaking, negotiating and peer collaboration. This competitive and prestigious summer program will equip these Harry S Truman High School students with practical skills and the understanding they need in order to make a difference in our changing world.
